First type leather liner chinstrap with small size flat lever buckle and brown coated United Carr marked rivets. It also has the earliest type holders without the reenforcing tube over the base (as present on all later production chinstraps). This is the hardest strap chinstrap to find. It seems to have been used on Inland jumpliners exclusively but is also perfect for fibre liners, St Clair liners, Hood Rubber Company liners and high pressure plastic liners with steel A washers. The chinstrap is in nicely used condition. It does have a small tear but is by no means weak. This chinstrap comes from the M-1 Helmet.com collection stock.
